Numbers continue to grow for this popular event, with 29 Wellington section members participating.
Saturday was near bluebird with a gusty breeze. There was an initial boot pack to get to skinnable snow. Missions then headed all over. Jan, Graeme and I joined a few others in doing a number of laps in a gully that had ideal spring conditions at mid altitude as the top didn’t soften.
Sunday, the breeze was up a little with waterfalls flowing horizontally rather than vertically. Most headed out while a number of us bailed.
