Scott Taylor, Toby Johnston & Don French found plenty of snow at Mt Cook over Easter. This significantly curtailed their plans. There was unsuccessfull attempt of Nazomi by Toby and Scott. Of note, it took four hours to gain and ascend Pudding Rock to Gardener Hut, with chest deep snow at one point. The team spend a pleasant bivy in the Hooker icefall on their approach.
